Audi S6 - installation of subwoofer and tweeters Morel

Installation of a subwoofer and tweeters into the latest-generation Audi S6. The basic audio system of this luxury car is not exactly impressive, especially when the owner demands high-quality sound and a strong bass component. The requirement was therefore a powerful subwoofer with precise, punchy bass and at the same time as little intrusion into the trunk as possible, along with an overall sound improvement. In the end, the choice fell on this year’s novelty from American Kicker. 400 W RMS power, a precise 10" driver and a very flat enclosure design perfectly met the client's requirements. An important element of the installation was also a small monoblock from the Italian manufacturer Steg, which supplied the subwoofer with the necessary power and could be hidden in the trunk side panel. The original intention of a simple speaker swap was unfortunately not possible due to the optional Bose system, however we managed to replace at least the tweeters. And the choice could not have been anything other than the Israeli sound masters Morel. The new tweeters significantly changed the character of the entire sound toward markedly higher audio quality while retaining the factory midrange and bass speakers. View products >Hide products >
