A major expansion of the Hertz range: the new Marine Audio, Portofino and Powersports ranges
We have now significantly expanded our range of the Italian brand Hertz at Ahifi. You can now find dozens of products designed for Marine and Powersports installations – including audio systems for boats, yachts, speedboats, UTVs, ATVs, quad bikes, motorcycles and other vehicles where audio equipment must withstand significantly more demanding conditions. The new products include speakers and subwoofers, source units, a high-end DSP amplifier, controllers and complete installation accessories. Another major new addition is the premium Hertz Portofino range, which the manufacturer itself lists among the key new products in its Marine lineup for 2026.
New Hertz Portofino range
One of the most interesting new additions is the complete Hertz Portofino range, which combines high sound quality, elegant Italian design and a construction designed to withstand demanding conditions on board. We have added 6.5" and 7.7" Portofino 65 and 77 coaxial speakers, standalone Portofino 11 tweeters and powerful 10" Portofino 100 subwoofers to our range. Individual models are available in both white and black finishes, while the subwoofers are also available in 2 or 4 Ω impedance versions. Hertz only introduced the new black finish for the Portofino range in 2026. Portofino is not just about design – Hertz developed this range for high-quality Hi-Fi audio systems on boats and offers, for example, 6.5" models with 75 W RMS, 7.7" models with 100 W RMS and 10" subwoofers with 250 W RMS.
Hertz HEX, HMX Marine speakers and HMS subwoofers
We have also significantly expanded our range of the proven Hertz HEX and HMX series. You can now find compact 4" HEX speakers, 6.5" models, larger HMX 7.7 speakers and powerful HMX 8.8 models. Selected versions also feature impressive LED illumination. To complement the low-frequency range, we also offer 10" Hertz HMS marine subwoofers, including 2 Ω and 4 Ω versions. This makes it possible to combine individual components according to the required power and the amplifier being used. The marine construction is not merely a marketing label. Hertz designs its Marine products with exposure to water, UV radiation and saltwater environments in mind, using appropriate protection and testing for operation on the water for individual components.
Hertz Venezia V8 DSPx² – the new pinnacle of the Marine range
The new Hertz Venezia V8 DSPx² represents the true technological pinnacle. This eight-channel Marine amplifier with integrated DSP offers a total output of up to 2000 W, Hi-Res processing at 24 bit / 96 kHz, dual DSP processors and EVOCA technology, which optimizes the behaviour of the connected speakers in real time. It also features an A2B digital bus, which makes it possible to create extensive multi-zone systems with significantly simpler cabling. The Venezia V8 DSPx² is currently the flagship of the Hertz Marine range and is primarily designed for high-end installations and complex audio systems for larger boats and yachts.
New Marine Head Units and Source Units
We have also added the new Hertz HMR 18 and Hertz HMR 18 D source units to our range, as well as the Hertz Capri system. The HMR 18 is a compact Marine head unit with Bluetooth 5.0, USB, two independent zones and an IP66-rated front panel. For more demanding installations, the Capri range is designed to provide a more advanced solution, including the new Capri HBB Black Box unit. It allows control of up to four independent audio zones and supports Bluetooth, USB, digital signal transmission and A2B. We also offer a DAB+ module, wiring, controllers and other accessories for creating a complete system.
Complete Accessories for Professional Installation
Along with the main components, we have also added an extensive range of installation accessories. New products include waterproof HMDB distribution blocks, HMCB circuit breakers in several current ratings, HMA interconnect cables, NMEA 2000 controllers, protective covers, mounts for tower speakers and other components. The result is the possibility of building virtually an entire Marine audio system from Hertz products – from the signal source through DSP and amplifiers to speakers, subwoofers, controls and installation accessories.
New Product Also for Harley-Davidson
The expansion is not limited to the Marine range. Among the new products, we have also added the Hertz SX 690 H Neo, powerful 6 × 9" three-way coaxial speakers from the SPL Show range, developed specifically with Harley-Davidson motorcycle installations in mind. The speakers offer 130 W RMS of power, a sensitivity of 94 dB and, thanks to the neodymium magnet, high performance while maintaining compact dimensions. The cone also features a special treatment to protect against water, moisture and UV radiation.
Specific Products Available by Binding Order
Marine and Powersports audio represents a highly specialized range with a large number of different variants and applications. For this reason, we do not normally keep most Hertz Marine products in stock. Products marked as “Available to order” can be supplied based on a binding customer order. For some selected models, we already list a standard availability time of several weeks.
