Morel Acudamp MAT 221.10 is a two-layer anti-vibration material with an overall thickness of 2.1 mm, designed to effectively suppress vibrations, noise and unwanted resonance in the vehicle body. The construction combines a butyl compound with a durable 100-micron aluminum foil. This provides high mechanical damping, long-term stability and very good thermal resistance. The material features a unique hexagonal honeycomb surface embossing that improves the mechanical properties of the aluminum layer while also facilitating installation. This structure is exceptional on the market and gives the material greater bending strength and better conformity on curved surfaces. Acudamp is primarily intended for soundproofing doors, side body panels, the roof or the trunk area, where it effectively increases panel stiffness and eliminates resonances. Installation is quick and clean thanks to the stable, odorless butyl compound with high adhesion. The material is suitable for combination with additional soundproofing layers and thus forms a solid base for reducing interior noise.
