The Nakamichi ND438F is a dual dash camera designed for simultaneous recording of the area in front of and behind the vehicle. The front camera records in high resolution up to 4K Ultra HD, enabling capture of important traffic details, license plates and the vehicle surroundings. The rear camera offers above-standard 2K resolution and provides significantly more detailed images than common rear cameras with Full HD resolution. The main unit includes a 3.2" IPS display for frame checking, function settings and playback of saved recordings.

Built-in Wi‑Fi enables wireless connection to a mobile phone, where you can view the live image, browse and download recorded videos or change selected settings. A multi-axis G-sensor automatically locks important recordings against overwriting upon collision detection and offers three sensitivity levels. The camera also supports parking monitoring, which—when paired with a suitable power solution—allows protection of the vehicle even while parked.

Video is stored in TS format with the modern H.265 codec, which reduces storage demands while preserving high image quality. The ND438F supports Class 10 microSD cards with capacities up to 256 GB, providing ample space for dual high-resolution recording. A built-in speaker, status LED indicators and a backup RTC battery for retaining the set date and time are also included.
