Sound-insulating material Comfortmat Locker
Comfortmat Locker is a newly developed sound-insulating material designed exclusively for application to plastic and textile wheel arches. Thanks to a specially engineered lightweight membrane, it can significantly increase the acoustic insulation of the wheel arch without adding extra load to the arch's fastening elements. Its low 3 mm thickness also allows easy installation even on complex curved surfaces while permitting straightforward reassembly of the arch. Longitudinal embossing makes the material very formable, allowing it to follow and adapt to the surface shape of the wheel arch. Comfortmat Locker eliminates noise from tires, gravel, water and stones hitting the wheel arches and contributes to an overall increase in driving comfort. For application on textile wheel arches, which are typically used by premium car manufacturers, use the spray adhesive Comfortmat Contact Spray Adhesive to ensure perfect adhesion to the textile surface. Locker is fully waterproof, flexible and retains its properties in both winter and summer conditions. Thanks to its low weight and high effectiveness, it is an ideal solution for post-installation improvement of acoustic comfort in the vehicle cabin without modifying the body structure.

How to apply
Comfortmat Locker is primarily intended to improve the acoustic insulation of textile wheel arches in passenger and commercial vehicles. Due to its construction and low weight, it can be applied to any type of wheel arch – front or rear – without the need for modifications or complicating its reinstallation. Before application, thoroughly clean and degrease the wheel arch. Thanks to the strong self-adhesive layer, apply Locker directly to plastic wheel arches. For textile wheel arches, first apply the Comfortmat Contact Spray Adhesive and then apply Locker. Most common applications:
- Inner side of textile wheel arches.
- Inner side of plastic wheel arches.
