This hard pad features an optimized shape with slightly chamfered edges, which greatly increases polishing accuracy and minimizes the risk of damaging paint in hard-to-reach areas. The special construction ensures that heat generated by friction is better dissipated, protecting both the paint and the pad from excessive heating.

How to care for polishing pads

• Care for polishing pads is essential for their long life and future polishing capabilities.
• While working monitor the pad temperature, because polishing can heat it to very high temperatures.
• Frequent overheating of the pad during extended cutting significantly shortens its lifespan.
• If the pad is overheated, let it cool down for a while to protect the foam and adhesive.
• The pad must be cleaned regularly during polishing, otherwise it loses its effectiveness.
• You can remove clogged compound by setting the polisher to low speed and brushing the pad dry with a medium-soft brush, such as Poka Premium Brush for Details and Pad cleaning - Hard Blue.
• If you have an air compressor available, you can blow the clogged compound out of the pad while the polisher is running.
• After finishing work it is important to wash the pad thoroughly so it is ready for the next use.
• We recommend washing the pad in a washing machine at 40 °C using a special microfiber detergent, the ideal choice is Gyeon Q²M TowelWash.
• Never wash pads together with microfiber cloths or towels!
• For hand washing without a machine use a specialized pad cleaner like ADBL Pad Cleaner.
• After washing the pad do not put it in a dryer; let it air dry naturally laid on a drying towel with the polishing side facing down.
• Store polishing pads in a dry place away from direct sunlight, preferably in a closed clean plastic box.
