The unique conical shape of the pad provides optimal pressure distribution while protecting surrounding surfaces from unwanted contact with the polisher's backing plate. The design also considers easy handling. How to care for polishing pads

• Proper care of polishing pads is essential for their long life and maintaining optimal polishing capabilities.
• During work monitor the pad temperature, because high temperatures generated by friction can damage the foam and adhesive.
• If the pad overheats during extended cutting, let it cool down for a while before using it again.
• The pad must be cleaned regularly during polishing, otherwise it will become clogged with compound and lose its effectiveness.
• You can remove clogged compound by running the polisher with the pad at low speed and brushing the surface with a medium-soft brush such as Poka Premium Brush for Details and Pad cleaning - Hard Blue.
• If you have an air compressor available, you can simply blow the clogged compound out of the rotating pad.
• After finishing work it is important to wash the pad thoroughly so it is ready for the next use.
• We recommend washing pads in a washing machine at 40 °C using a special microfiber detergent, for example Gyeon Q²M TowelWash.
• Never wash polishing pads together with microfiber towels or cloths.
• For hand washing without a machine use a specialized pad cleaner like ADBL Pad Cleaner.
• After washing the pad do not put it in a dryer; let it air dry naturally laid on a drying towel with the polishing side facing down.
• Store pads in a dry and clean place away from direct sunlight, ideally in a closed plastic box.
