The special construction minimizes the risk of paint damage and allows precise control of the polisher.

Another significant advantage is the well-thought-out hook-and-loop design. The hook-and-loop diameter is intentionally larger than the recommended backing plate diameter, which greatly facilitates and speeds up mounting and removal of the pad during work. How to care for polishing pads

• Care for polishing pads is very important for their long life and future polishing capabilities.
• While working monitor the temperature of the pad itself, which can heat up to high temperatures during paint polishing.
• If you polish the paint for a long time and frequently overheat the pad, you significantly shorten its lifespan.
• At high temperatures both the foam and the pad adhesive suffer, so if it overheats let it cool down for a while.
• The polishing pad needs to be cleaned often already during the polishing process, otherwise it will stop working and polishing will not be effective.
• Once the polishing pad is clogged with compound, clean it using a medium-soft brush such as Poka Premium Brush for Details and Pad cleaning - Hard Blue.
• When cleaning with a brush set the polisher to low speed idle in hand and let it spin the pad, taking care not to fling the clogged compound onto freshly polished paint.
• If you own an air compressor, you can simply blow the running polisher and pad with compressed air.
• After successful machine polishing we recommend washing the pad in a washing machine at 40 °C using a detergent for microfibers.
• For washing we recommend using a high-quality detergent such as Gyeon Q²M TowelWash, which works excellently.
• Never wash pads together with towels or cloths.
• For hand washing without a machine use a specialized pad cleaner like ADBL Pad Cleaner.
• After washing the pad do not put it in a dryer; let it air dry naturally laid on a drying towel with the polishing side facing down.
• Polishing pads should be stored in a dry place away from direct sunlight, ideally in a closed clean plastic box.
