One of the key advantages of this pad is the well-designed hook-and-loop diameter, which exceeds the size of the recommended backing plate. This solution significantly simplifies and speeds up centering, mounting and subsequent removal of the pad from the polisher. How to care for polishing pads

• Proper care of polishing pads is essential for their long life and maintaining optimal polishing capabilities.
• During polishing it is important to monitor the pad temperature, because high temperatures generated by friction can damage the pad.
• Long-term polishing with an overheated pad significantly shortens its lifespan, so let it cool down when necessary.
• At excessive temperatures the foam structure and the hook-and-loop adhesive are damaged.
• The pad must be cleaned regularly during work to prevent clogging and loss of effectiveness.
• To clean a clogged pad you can use a medium-soft brush, for example Poka Premium Brush for Details and Pad cleaning - Hard Blue.
• When cleaning with a brush set the polisher to low speed and run it idle while gently applying the brush to the rotating pad.
• If you have a compressor available you can blow the clogged compound out of the rotating pad with compressed air.
• After finishing polishing the pad must be thoroughly cleaned so it is ready for the next use.
• We recommend washing the pad in a washing machine at 40 °C using a special microfiber detergent such as Gyeon Q²M TowelWash.
• Never wash polishing pads together with microfiber cloths or towels.
• For hand washing without a machine you can use the specialized cleaner ADBL Pad Cleaner.
• After washing the pads do not dry them in a dryer; let them air dry freely on a drying towel with the polishing side facing down.
• Store dry pads in a clean place without direct sunlight access, ideally in a closable plastic box.
