Soft foam polishing pad designed specifically for use with orbital (dual action) polishers and finishing compounds. It is an ideal choice for removing minor paint imperfections and achieving maximum gloss. Thanks to its well-thought-out construction with rounded edges, it provides high safety during work and excellent adaptability to body shapes.

This soft polishing pad is made from high-quality open-cell foam, which ensures optimal air circulation and minimizes paint overheating during polishing. It is designed to work effectively with all types of finishing and micro-abrasive polishing compounds. It is excellent for the final polishing step when holograms, fine scratches need to be removed and a deep mirror-like shine is required.

One of the main advantages of the pad is its specific shape and construction. The hook-and-loop diameter is intentionally larger than the recommended diameter of the backing plate, which significantly facilitates and speeds up fitting and removing the pad from the polisher. The rounded edge profile also increases safety when working in folds and on body edges where there is a risk of accidental paint damage by the backing plate edge.

The pad is a suitable helper both after previous heavy sanding with harder pads and for standalone refreshing of slightly damaged paint. How to care for polishing pads

• Proper care of polishing pads is essential for their long life and preservation of polishing capabilities.
• During work, monitor the pad temperature, because high temperatures during prolonged sanding significantly shorten its lifespan.
• If overheated, let the pad cool to prevent foam damage and adhesive weakening.
• The pad must be cleaned regularly during polishing to prevent clogging with compound and reduced polishing effectiveness.
• You can brush out clogged compound using a medium-soft brush, for example Poka Premium Brush for Details and Pad cleaning - Hard Blue, with the polisher running at low speed.
• If you have a compressor available, you can blow old compound out of the rotating pad with compressed air.
• After finishing work, we recommend washing the pad in a washing machine at 40 °C using a special detergent for microfiber, such as Gyeon Q²M TowelWash.
• Never wash polishing pads together with microfiber cloths or towels.
• After washing, do not tumble dry the pads; let them air-dry laid polishing-side down on a drying towel.
• For hand washing use the special pad cleaner ADBL Pad Cleaner.
• Store pads in a dry, dark place away from sunlight, ideally in a sealable clean plastic container.
