The medium-hard polishing pad specially designed for use with eccentric (dual action) polishers helps effectively remove light paint defects. Achieving a perfectly smooth paint without scratches and holograms requires not only the right polishing compound but above all a quality pad that can evenly transfer the polisher’s pressure and rotation. This medium-hard foam pad is designed to minimize the risk of paint damage while providing optimal cutting and polishing power. The special conical shape and diamond profile ensure safety even when working on edges and in harder-to-reach areas of the bodywork.

One of the most common problems in machine polishing is difficult centering and rapid wear of the hook-and-loop. This product solves that problem with an increased hook-and-loop diameter that exceeds the backing plate diameter. This makes fitting and removing the pad exceptionally quick and easy, saving significant time during work. The pad is compatible with all types of polishing compounds, making it a versatile helper for every detailer.

How to care for polishing pads

• Proper care of pads is key to their long life and preservation of future polishing capabilities.
• Monitor the pad temperature during use, as high temperatures generated by friction can damage the foam and adhesive.
• If the pad overheats during prolonged polishing, let it cool down before the next use.
• The pad should be cleaned regularly even during polishing to prevent clogging with compound and reduced effectiveness.
• To remove clogged compound you can use a medium-soft brush, for example Poka Premium Brush for Details and Pad cleaning - Hard Blue, with the polisher running at low speed.
• If you have an air compressor available, you can simply blow the clogged compound out of the rotating pad.
• After finishing work we recommend washing the pads in a washing machine at 40 °C using a special microfiber detergent such as Gyeon Q²M TowelWash.
• Never wash polishing pads together with microfiber towels or cloths.
• For hand washing without a machine you can use the specialized cleaner ADBL Pad Cleaner.
• After washing do not put pads in the dryer; let them air dry laying working side down on a drying towel.
• Store pads in a dry and dark place, ideally in a sealable clean plastic container.
