Meguiar's Smooth Surface Clay Kit
Meguiar’s Smooth Surface Clay Kit is a professionally designed kit for decontaminating automotive painted surfaces. It contains everything needed for the safe removal of bonded surface contaminants that regular washing cannot eliminate. Using special clay bars, a lubricating detailer and a microfiber towel, you can achieve a completely smooth paint surface prepared for additional protective layers such as wax or sealant. The result is a surface with improved reflection, greater gloss and longer-lasting protection.

How to use
- Form a roughly 5 cm diameter pat from the clay bar.
- Work on a section of body approximately 50 x 50 cm, then move on to the next section.
- Thoroughly lubricate both the paint surface and the clay with the detailer, and wipe the clay-moistened surface as you work.
- Do not press hard when using the clay!
- Work with parallel strokes of about 15–20 cm. Wipe the entire section first in one direction, then wipe the same section again perpendicular to the original direction.
- Finally, wipe the whole section dry with a microfiber towel.
- If some contaminants resist, repeat the process, but never increase pressure on the clay bar!
