The Honey COMBination Polishing Pad Ultra Cut 2.0 is a polishing pad in the new ULTRA CUT 2.0 version. The material structure is a combination of 50% natural wool and 50% microfiber. It combines the cutting power of natural wool and microfiber with a good final gloss and reduced sharpness during polishing due to the use of synthetic fur. The new version of ULTRA CUT 2.0 does not have an orange rubber spacer, which makes it much easier to work with the curves of car bodies by adapting to their shapes.

How to Care for Polishing Pads

Caring for polishing pads is very important for their long lifespan and future polishing capabilities.
During work, the temperature of the pad is crucial for its lifespan, as it can heat up to high temperatures when polishing paint.
If you polish the paint for a long time and frequently overheat the pad, you significantly shorten its lifespan.
Therefore, monitor the temperature and, if the pad is overheated, let it cool down for a while.
Both the foam and the adhesive of the pad suffer at high temperatures.
Polishing pads need to be cleaned frequently during the polishing process, otherwise, they stop functioning and paint polishing becomes ineffective.
Once the polishing pad is clogged with polishing paste, it needs to be addressed.
You can take a medium-soft brush and set the polisher to lower speeds, holding the brush in hand and letting the polisher rotate the pad to brush away the old paste.
Be careful not to throw the used paste onto the polished car paint during rotary cleaning.
If you own an air compressor, you can use it to blow out the pad in the same way while the polisher is turned on.
After a successful polishing process, the pad needs to be prepared for future use.
We recommend washing the polishing pad in a washing machine at 40°C using a detergent designed for microfiber.
Never wash pads together with towels or cloths!
After washing, do not put the pads in a dryer, but let them dry naturally placed on a drying towel with the polishing side down.
If you do not have a washing machine available, you can also wash the pads by hand using an APC cleaner, diluted in a ratio of 1:6.
Polishing pads should be stored in a dry place away from direct sunlight, ideally in a closed clean plastic box.
