This particular U-series pad features reduced sensitivity to temperature-induced hardness changes, a denser structure, lower air permeability, and significantly increased smoothness compared to other pads in this range. These attributes make it ideal for single-step paint corrections and initial polishing of moderately damaged or soft paints. It is the most versatile pad in the U-series.

This feature, combined with a central hole (only for larger diameters), helps reduce the temperature of the polished surface, the pad itself, and the polisher. The safe thickness of the pad and the side profile with a thoughtfully beveled shape allow for greater comfort and precision in hard-to-reach areas. How to Care for Polishing Pads

• Caring for polishing pads is crucial for their longevity and future polishing performance.
• During use, the temperature of the pad is very important for its lifespan, as it can heat up to high temperatures while polishing.
• If you polish for extended periods and frequently overheat the pad, you significantly reduce its lifespan.
• Therefore, monitor the temperature and allow the pad to cool down if it overheats.
• High temperatures affect both the foam and the adhesive of the pad.
• Polishing pads need frequent cleaning during the polishing process; otherwise, they stop functioning effectively.
• Once the pad is clogged with polishing paste, it's time to address it.
• You can use a medium-soft brush and set the polisher to lower speed, brushing out the old paste while holding the brush in hand and allowing the polisher to rotate the pad.
• Be careful not to throw used paste onto the polished car paint during rotary cleaning.
• If you own an air compressor, you can use it to blow out the pad while the polisher is running.
• After successful machine polishing, the pad should be conditioned for future use.
• We recommend washing the pad in a machine at 40°C using a detergent suitable for microfiber.
• Never wash pads together with towels or cloths!
• After washing, do not put the pads in a dryer; let them air dry laying on a drying towel with the polishing side down.
• If a washing machine is unavailable, you can wash the pads by hand using an APC cleaner, diluted at a 1:6 ratio.
• Store polishing pads in a dry place away from direct sunlight, preferably in a closed clean plastic box.
