This particular U-series pad stands out with reduced sensitivity to hardness changes induced by temperature, denser structure, lower air permeability, and significantly increased smoothness compared to other pads in this range. These properties make it perfect for one-step paint corrections (recently very popular) and for initial polishing of moderately damaged or soft paints. It is the most versatile pad in the U series.

The use of carefully selected open-cell foam pads offers this series unique polishing power while ensuring unprecedented air circulation. This feature, combined with the central hole (only for larger diameters), allows for reducing the temperature of the polished surface, the pad itself, and the polisher. The safe thickness of the pad and the side profile with a thoughtfully beveled shape enable higher safety work comfort and precision in hard-to-reach areas. How to Care for Polishing Pads

• Caring for polishing pads is crucial for their long lifespan and future polishing capabilities.
• During work, the temperature of the pad itself, which can heat up to high temperatures when polishing paint, is critical for the pad and its lifespan.
• If you polish the paint for an extended period and frequently overheat the pad, you significantly shorten its lifespan.
• Therefore, monitor the temperature, and if the pad is overheated, let it cool down for a while.
• High temperatures affect both the foam and the pad's adhesive.
• The polishing pad needs frequent cleaning during the polishing process, or it will stop functioning effectively.
• Once the polishing pad is clogged with polishing paste, action is required.
• You can use a medium-soft brush and set the polisher to lower speeds while using the brush to remove the old paste. Just hold the brush and let the polisher rotate the pad.
• Be careful not to throw the used paste onto the polished car paint during rotary cleaning.
• If you own an air compressor, you can use it in the same manner to blow out the pad while the polisher is on.
• After successful machine polishing, the pad also needs to be prepared for future use.
• We recommend washing the polishing pad in a washing machine at 40 °C using a detergent meant for microfiber.
• We recommend using a high-quality detergent.
• Never wash pads together with towels or cloths!
• Do not tumble dry pads after washing; let them air dry naturally on a drying towel with the polishing side facing down.
• If a washing machine is unavailable, you can wash pads by hand using an APC cleaner diluted in a 1:6 ratio.
• Polishing pads should be stored in a dry place away from direct sunlight, ideally in a closed clean plastic box.
