The Honey COMBination Polishing Pad Short 2.0 is a high-performance polishing pad designed for use with orbital polishers. The material structure combines 50% natural wool and 50% microfiber. It merges the cutting power of natural wool and microfiber with a good final gloss achieved by reducing sharpness during polishing with synthetic fur. The reinforced bond of these two fibers reduces clogging with paste residues and improves the longevity of its structure. It features a rubber interlayer that minimizes vibrations during use. The hole in the center ensures better cooling and facilitates even placement on the backing plate.

How to Care for Polishing Pads
- Caring for polishing pads is crucial for their longevity and future polishing capabilities.
- The temperature of the pad during use is very important for its lifespan as it can heat up significantly during paint polishing.
- If you polish for extended periods and frequently overheat the pad, you significantly shorten its lifespan.
- Monitor the temperature and let it cool down if overheated.
- High temperatures can damage both the foam and the adhesive of the pad.
- Regular cleaning during the polishing process is necessary for effective polishing.
- Once clogged with polishing paste, it needs attention.
- You can use a medium-soft brush and set the polisher to low speed to brush out the old paste.
- Be careful not to throw used paste onto the polished surface.
- If you have an air compressor, you can blow out the pad in a similar manner with the polisher running.
- After successful machine polishing, prepare the pad for future use.
- We recommend washing the pad in a washing machine at 40°C using a microfiber detergent.
- Never wash pads together with towels or cloths!
- Do not put pads in the dryer; let them air dry on a drying towel with the polishing side down.
- If a washing machine is unavailable, hand wash with an APC cleaner diluted 1:6.
- Store polishing pads in a dry place away from direct sunlight, ideally in a clean plastic box.
