It is also suitable for one-step paint polishing. This polishing pad is characterized by minimal abrasive performance while maintaining a very high level of final gloss.

Polishing Pads Honey COMBination R DA-series

The Honey COMBination R-DA series is a range of polishing pads made from closed-cell foam. The R-DA pads offer a wide range of hardness levels, allowing the pad to adapt to any type of polishing and surface. These features make the R-DA pads a unique range with a broad spectrum of uses. The good quality foam and precise craftsmanship translate to high durability. The thinness of the pads, flexibility enhancing work comfort, resistance to high temperatures, and a center hole that aids in precise pad placement on the carrier, make the R-DA series pads ideal for beginners.

How to Care for Polishing Pads

  • Caring for polishing pads is very important for their long lifespan and future polishing capabilities.
  • During work, the temperature of the pad itself is very important for its lifespan, as it can heat up to high temperatures during paint polishing.
  • If you polish paint for an extended period and frequently overheat the pad, you significantly shorten its lifespan.
  • Therefore, monitor the temperature and if the pad is overheated, let it cool down for a while.
  • High temperatures affect both the foam and the adhesive of the pad.
  • The polishing pad needs frequent cleaning during the polishing process; otherwise, it will cease to function effectively.
  • Once the polishing pad is clogged with polishing paste, it needs to be addressed.
  • You can use a medium-soft brush and set the polisher to lower speeds, then brush out the old paste. Just hold the brush in your hand and let the polisher rotate the pad.
  • Be careful not to throw the used paste onto the polished car paint during rotary cleaning.
  • If you have an air compressor, you can use it to blow out the pad while the polisher is on.
  • After a successful polishing process, the pad also needs to be prepared for future use.
  • We recommend washing the polishing pad in a washing machine at 40°C using a detergent suitable for microfiber.
  • Never wash pads together with towels or cloths!
  • After washing, do not put the pads in a dryer; let them air dry on a drying towel with the polishing side down.
  • If you don't have access to a washing machine, you can wash the pads by hand using an APC cleaner diluted at a ratio of 1:6.
  • Polishing pads should be stored in a dry place away from direct sunlight, ideally in a closed, clean plastic box.
