Polishing Pads Honey COMBination R DA-series
The Honey COMBination R-DA series is a range of polishing pads made from closed-cell foam. R-DA pads offer a wide range of hardness levels that help tailor the pad to any type of polishing and any surface. These properties make the R-DA pads a unique series with a wide range of uses. Good foam quality and precise craftsmanship translate into high durability. The thin thickness of the pads, flexibility enhancing work comfort, resistance to high temperatures, and the center hole, which aids in precise placement of the pad on the backing plate, make the R-DA series pads ideal for beginners.

How to Care for Polishing Pads
- Caring for polishing pads is crucial for their long lifespan and future polishing capabilities.
- During use, the temperature of the pad itself is essential for its longevity, as it can heat up to high temperatures when polishing paint.
- If you polish the paint for a long time and frequently overheat the pad, you significantly shorten its lifespan.
- Therefore, monitor the temperature and if the pad is overheated, let it cool down for a while.
- Both the foam and the adhesive of the pad suffer at high temperatures.
- The polishing pad needs to be cleaned frequently during the polishing process, otherwise it will stop functioning, and paint polishing will not be effective.
- Once the polishing pad is clogged with polishing paste, it needs to be addressed.
- You can use a medium-soft brush and set the polisher to lower speeds, running it in hand and brushing away the old paste. Just hold the brush in hand and let the polisher rotate the pad.
- Be careful not to throw used paste onto the polished car paint during rotary cleaning.
- If you have an air compressor, you can use it to blow out the pad in the same manner with the polisher turned on.
- After a successful machine polishing process, the pad should be prepared for potential future use.
- We recommend washing the polishing pad in a washing machine at 40 °C using a detergent meant for microfiber.
- Never wash pads together with towels or cloths!
- Do not dry pads in a dryer; let them air dry on a drying towel with the polishing side down.
- If you don't have access to a washing machine, you can wash pads by hand using some APC cleaner, diluted at a 1:6 ratio.
- Polishing pads should be stored in a dry place away from direct sunlight, ideally in a closed, clean plastic box.
