Polishing Pads Honey COMBination R DA-series
The Honey COMBination R-DA series is a range of polishing pads made from closed-cell foam. R-DA pads offer a wide range of hardness levels, allowing them to be tailored to any type of polishing and surface. These characteristics make R-DA pads a unique series with a wide range of applications. High-quality foam and precise craftsmanship result in high durability. The thinness of the pads, flexibility enhancing work comfort, resistance to high temperatures, and the center hole for precise placement on the backing plate make the R-DA series pads ideal for beginners.

How to Care for Polishing Pads
- Caring for polishing pads is crucial for their longevity and future polishing capabilities.
- The temperature of the pad during use is crucial for its lifespan as it can heat up significantly during polishing.
- If you polish the paint for an extended period and frequently overheat the pad, you significantly shorten its lifespan.
- Therefore, monitor the temperature and let the pad cool down if overheated.
- High temperatures affect both the foam and the adhesive of the pad.
- The polishing pad needs to be cleaned frequently during the polishing process; otherwise, it will stop functioning effectively.
- When the polishing pad becomes clogged with polishing paste, it needs to be addressed.
- You can use a medium-soft brush and set the polisher to lower speeds to brush off the old paste. Just hold the brush in your hand and let the polisher rotate the pad.
- Be careful not to splatter used paste onto the polished paint during rotary cleaning.
- If you have an air compressor, you can use it to blow out the pad while the polisher is running.
- After successful machine polishing, the pad needs to be prepared for future use.
- We recommend washing the polishing pad in a washing machine at 40°C using a detergent suitable for microfiber.
- Never wash pads together with towels or cloths!
- After washing, do not put pads in the dryer, but let them air dry on a drying towel with the polishing side down.
- If you don't have access to a washing machine, you can wash the pads by hand using APC cleaners, diluted as needed.
- Polishing pads should be stored in a dry place away from direct sunlight, ideally in a closed clean plastic box.
