R-DA pads offer a wide range of hardness levels, helping to adapt the pad to every type of polishing and every surface. How to Care for Polishing Pads

Caring for polishing pads is very important for their longevity and future polishing capabilities.
During use, the temperature of the pad is crucial for its durability, as it can heat up significantly during polishing.
If you polish the paint for an extended period and frequently overheat the pad, you significantly shorten its lifespan.
Therefore, monitor the temperature and allow the pad to cool if it gets too hot.
High temperatures affect both the foam and the adhesive of the pad.
Polishing pads need frequent cleaning during the polishing process, otherwise, they stop functioning effectively.
Once the pad is clogged with polishing compound, it needs to be addressed.
You can use a medium-soft brush and set the polisher to a lower speed, holding the brush in your hand to brush away the old compound. Be careful not to get the used compound on the polished paint.
If you have an air compressor, you can use it to blow out the pad while the polisher is running.
After successful polishing, it's important to restore the pad so it can be used again in the future.
We recommend washing the pad in a washing machine at 40°C with a detergent suitable for microfiber.
Never wash pads together with towels or cloths!
Do not dry the pads in a dryer; let them air dry on a drying towel with the polishing side down.
If you don't have access to a washing machine, you can wash pads by hand using an APC cleaner, diluted at a 1:6 ratio.
Polishing pads should be stored in a dry place, away from direct sunlight, ideally in a closed, clean plastic box.
