The Honey COMBination Polishing Pad R DA-series Orange Medium is a medium-soft polishing pad from the R-DA series, specially developed for working with all types of paints, both hard and soft. This polishing pad is characterized by its gentle abrasive performance while maintaining a very high level of final gloss. It excels in the intermediate stage of multi-step corrections and can also be used for one-step corrections on soft and very soft paints.
Polishing Pads Honey COMBination R DA-series
The Honey COMBination R-DA series is a range of polishing pads made from closed-cell foam. R-DA pads offer a wide range of hardnesses that help adapt the pad to any type of polishing and any surface. These features make the R-DA pads a unique series with a wide range of uses. Good quality foam and precise craftsmanship translate into high durability. The thinness of the pads, flexibility enhancing work comfort, resistance to high temperatures, and a central hole that helps precisely position the pad on the backing plate, make the R-DA series pads ideal for beginners.

How to Care for Polishing Pads
- Caring for polishing pads is very important for their long life and future polishing capabilities.
- During work, the temperature of the pad itself, which can heat up to high temperatures during paint polishing, is very important for the pad and its lifespan.
- If you polish the paint for a long time and frequently overheat the pad, you significantly shorten its lifespan.
- Therefore, monitor the temperature and if the pad is overheated, let it cool down for a while.
- Both the foam and the adhesive of the pad suffer at high temperatures.
- The polishing pad needs to be cleaned frequently during the polishing process, otherwise it will stop working and paint polishing will not be effective.
- Once the polishing pad is clogged with polishing paste, it needs to be addressed.
- You can take a medium-soft brush and set the polisher to lower speeds, in your hand, and brush out the old paste. Just hold the brush and let the polisher rotate the pad.
- Be careful not to throw the used paste onto the polished paint of the car during rotary cleaning.
- If you own an air compressor, you can use it in the same way to blow out the pad while the polisher is on.
- After a successful machine polishing process, the pad also needs to be put in a state that allows it to be ideally used in the future.
- Here we recommend washing the polishing pad in a washing machine at 40°C using a detergent used for microfiber.
- Polishing pads should never be washed together with towels or cloths!
- After washing, do not put the pads in the dryer, but let them dry naturally on a drying towel with the polishing side down.
- If you do not have access to a washing machine, you can wash the pads by hand using an APC cleaner, diluted in a 1:6 ratio.
- Polishing pads should be stored in a dry place away from direct sunlight, ideally in a closed clean plastic box.
