Abrasive Disc Honey COMBination Polishing Pad R DA-series Blue Hard Cut (75 x 90 mm)
The Honey COMBination Polishing Pad R DA-series Blue Hard Cut is a basic abrasive disc from the R-DA range, specially developed for the renovation of hard or heavily damaged paints. It is a polishing pad from the abrasive foam category, characterized by high abrasive performance while maintaining a decent level of gloss. It differs from other discs in this range by the greater stiffness of the foam. It excels as the first step in multi-stage paint correction, especially for hard and very hard paints.
Polishing Pads Honey COMBination R DA-series
The Honey COMBination R-DA series is a range of polishing pads made of closed-cell foam. R-DA discs offer a wide range of hardness levels, helping to customize the pad for every type of polishing and every surface. These features make the R-DA pads a unique range with a wide spectrum of applications. Good foam quality and precise workmanship translate into high durability. The small thickness of the pads, flexibility enhancing work comfort, resistance to high temperatures, and the central hole that aids in precise placement on the carrier make the R-DA series pads ideal for beginners.

How to Care for Polishing Pads
- Caring for polishing pads is crucial for their long lifespan and future polishing capabilities.
- The temperature of the pad itself during work is very important for its longevity, as it can heat up to high temperatures when polishing paint.
- If you polish the paint for a long time and frequently overheat the pad, you significantly shorten its lifespan.
- Therefore, monitor the temperature, and if the pad is overheated, let it cool down for a while.
- Both the foam and the adhesive of the pad suffer at high temperatures.
- Polishing pads need to be cleaned frequently during the polishing process; otherwise, they will stop functioning efficiently.
- Once the polishing pad is clogged with polishing paste, it needs to be addressed.
- You can take a medium-soft brush and set the polisher to lower speeds, brush away the old paste. Just hold the brush in your hand and let the polisher rotate the pad.
- Be careful not to throw the used paste onto the polished car paint during rotational cleaning.
- If you own an air compressor, you can use it to easily blow out the pad while the polisher is running.
- After successful machine polishing, the pad should also be put into a state for ideal future use.
- We recommend washing the polishing pad in a washing machine at 40°C using a detergent designed for microfiber.
- Never wash pads together with towels or cloths!
- After washing, do not put the pads in a dryer, but let them air dry face down on a drying towel.
- If a washing machine is not available, pads can also be washed by hand using an APC cleaner diluted at a 1:6 ratio.
- Polishing pads should be stored in a dry place away from direct sunlight, ideally in a closed clean plastic box.
