Honey COMBination Polishing Pad R DA-series Blue Hard Cut (125 x 140 mm)
The Honey COMBination Polishing Pad R DA-series Blue Hard Cut is a fundamental polishing pad from the R-DA series, specially developed for restoring hard or heavily damaged paints. It is a polishing pad from the abrasive foam category, characterized by high abrasive performance while maintaining a decent level of gloss. It differs from other pads in this series by having a stiffer foam. It excels as the first step in multi-stage paint correction, especially for hard and very hard paints.
Polishing Pads Honey COMBination R DA-series
The Honey COMBination R-DA series is a range of polishing pads made from closed-cell foam. The R-DA pads offer a wide spectrum of hardness, allowing the pad to be adapted to each type of polishing and each surface. These features make the R-DA pads a unique series with a wide range of uses. The good quality foam and precise workmanship result in high durability. The thinness of the pads, flexibility that enhances working comfort, resistance to high temperatures, and the central hole that aids precise placement on the holder make the R-DA series pads ideal for beginners.

How to Care for Polishing Pads
- Caring for polishing pads is crucial for their longevity and future polishing capabilities.
- The temperature of the pad itself is very important for its lifespan, as it can heat up to high temperatures during paint polishing.
- If you polish the paint for a long time and frequently overheat the pad, you significantly reduce its lifespan.
- Therefore, monitor the temperature and if the pad is overheated, allow it to cool down.
- High temperatures affect both the foam and the adhesive of the pad.
- Polishing pads need to be cleaned frequently during the polishing process, otherwise they stop working and polishing becomes ineffective.
- Once the polishing pad is clogged with polishing paste, it needs to be addressed.
- You can use a medium-soft brush and set the polisher to lower speeds, holding the brush in hand and letting the polisher rotate the pad to brush away the old paste.
- Be careful not to throw the used paste onto the polished car paint during rotary cleaning.
- If you own an air compressor, you can use it in the same way to blow out the pad while the polisher is on.
- After successful machine polishing, the pad also needs to be prepared for future use.
- We recommend washing the polishing pad in a washing machine at 40 °C using a detergent designed for microfiber.
- Never wash pads together with towels or cloths!
- Do not put the pads in a dryer after washing, but let them air dry on a drying towel with the polishing side down.
- If you don't have access to a washing machine, you can wash the pads by hand using any APC cleaner, diluted in a 1:6 ratio.
- Polishing pads should be stored in a dry place away from direct sunlight, ideally in a sealed clean plastic box.
