Honey COMBination DUAL CUT is the most aggressive polishing pad in the DUAL range, developed for working on hard and heavily damaged clear coats. It features high abrasive performance for quickly removing deep scratches, oxidation and sanding marks while maintaining a controlled level of final finish. It excels in the initial stage of multi-step corrections, especially on hard and very hard clear coats. The reticulated foam with the highest density in the range effectively transfers the polisher's energy to the surface and shortens the time required for correction. It achieves optimal results when used with Honey COMBination Cutting Compound 1+ and Honey COMBination Polishing Compound 1.

The Honey COMBination DUAL series is a line of polishing pads designed by experienced detailers for maximum performance with a minimal number of products. Pads are made from reticulated foam with hybrid properties that combine the high breathability of open-cell foams with the smooth operation characteristic of closed-cell structures. These properties ensure stability, better temperature control and higher polishing efficiency.

The specially designed Dual Shape makes precise work easier in harder-to-reach areas and along body lines. The low profile improves polisher stability and control during use. A quality velour backing combined with a new adhesive formula ensures high durability and reliable attachment even during intensive use.

How to care for polishing pads

• Care for polishing pads is very important for their long life and future polishing performance.
• During work, the pad temperature is critical for its lifespan, as the pad can heat up to high temperatures while polishing clear coat.
• If you sand for extended periods and frequently overheat the pad, you will significantly shorten its life.
• Therefore monitor the temperature and if the pad is overheated, let it cool down for a while.
• High temperatures damage both the foam and the pad adhesive.
• The polishing pad needs to be cleaned frequently during the polishing process, otherwise it will stop working and the polishing will not be effective.
• Once the pad is loaded with polishing compound, it's necessary to address it.
• You can take a medium-soft brush (e.g. Poka Premium Brush for Details and Pad cleaning - Hard Blue) and set the polisher to low speed, hold it idle in your hand, and brush the old compound out of the pad. Hold the brush in your hand and let the polisher spin the pad.
• Be careful not to fling used compound onto the freshly polished paint during rotary cleaning.
• If you have an air compressor, you can use it the same way and simply blow the pad out with the polisher running.
• After a successful machine polishing process, the pad also needs to be prepared so it can ideally be used again in the future.
• We recommend washing the polishing pad in a washing machine at 40 °C using a detergent suitable for microfiber.
• We recommend using a high-quality detergent: Gyeon Q²M TowelWash.
• Never wash pads together with towels or rags!
• After washing, do not put pads in the dryer; let them air dry laid on a drying towel with the polishing side down.
• If you don't have access to a washing machine, you can wash the pads by hand using one of the APC cleaners (e.g. Gyeon Q²M APC), diluted at a ratio of 1:6.
• Polishing pads should be stored in a dry place out of direct sunlight, ideally in a closed clean plastic box.
