Honey COMBination DUAL CUT is the most aggressive polishing pad in the DUAL range, developed for working on hard and heavily damaged paints. It features high abrasive performance for rapid removal of deep scratches, oxidation and sanding marks while maintaining a controlled level of the final surface. It excels in the initial stage of multi-step corrections, especially on hard and very hard clearcoats. The reticulated foam with the highest density in the range effectively transfers the polisher's energy to the surface and reduces the time required for correction. Optimal results are achieved in combination with Honey COMBination Cutting Compound 1+ and Honey COMBination Polishing Compound 1.

The Honey COMBination DUAL series is a line of polishing pads designed by experienced detailers for maximum performance with a minimal number of products. The pads are made from reticulated foam with hybrid properties that combine the high breathability of open-cell foams with the smooth operation typical of closed-cell structures. These features ensure stability, better temperature control and higher polishing efficiency.

The specially designed Dual Shape profile facilitates precise work in hard-to-reach areas and along body lines. The low profile improves polisher stability and control during operation. A quality velour backing layer combined with a new adhesive composition ensures high durability and reliable attachment even under intensive use.

How to care for polishing pads

• Caring for polishing pads is very important for their long life and future polishing performance.
• During use, the temperature of the pad itself is crucial for its lifespan — the pad can heat up to high temperatures while polishing paint.
• If you sand the paint for long periods and frequently overheat the pad, you will significantly shorten its lifespan.
• Therefore monitor the temperature and if the pad becomes overheated, let it cool down for a while.
• Both the foam and the pad adhesive suffer at high temperatures.
• The polishing pad needs to be cleaned frequently during the polishing process, otherwise it will stop working and polishing will not be effective.
• As soon as the pad becomes clogged with polishing compound, you need to address it.
• You can take a medium-soft brush (e.g. Poka Premium Brush for Details and Pad cleaning - Hard Blue) and set the polisher to low speed, hold it idle in your hand and brush out the old compound. Just hold the brush in your hand and let the polisher spin the pad.
• Be careful not to fling used compound onto freshly polished paint while cleaning with a rotary polisher.
• If you own an air compressor, you can use it in the same way and simply blow the pad clean while the polisher is running.
• After a successful machine polishing process, the pad also needs to be prepared so it can ideally be used again in the future.
• We recommend washing the polishing pad in a washing machine at 40 °C using a detergent intended for microfiber.
• We recommend using a high-quality detergent such as Gyeon Q²M TowelWash.
• Never wash pads together with towels or cloths!
• Do not put pads in the dryer after washing; let them air dry lying on a drying towel with the polishing side down.
• If you don’t have access to a washing machine, you can wash the pads by hand using one of the APC cleaners (e.g. Gyeon Q²M APC), diluted at a ratio of 1:6.
• Polishing pads should be stored in a dry place away from direct sunlight, ideally in a closed clean plastic box.
