It excels in the initial stage of multi-step corrections, especially on hard and very hard paints. Reticulated foam with the highest density in the entire series effectively transfers the machine's energy to the surface and shortens the time required for correction. Achieves optimal results when used in combination with Honey COMBination Cutting Compound 1+ and Honey COMBination Polishing Compound 1.

The Honey COMBination DUAL series is a line of polishing pads designed by experienced detailers for maximum performance with a minimal number of required products. The pads are made from reticulated foam with hybrid properties, which combines the high breathability of open-cell foams with the smooth running characteristic of closed-cell structures. These properties provide stability, better temperature control and higher polishing efficiency.

The specially designed Dual Shape profile makes precise work easier in hard-to-reach areas and along body lines. The low profile improves machine stability and control during work. A quality velour backing layer combined with a new adhesive formulation ensures high durability and reliable attachment even during intensive use.

How to care for polishing pads

• Caring for polishing pads is very important for their long life and future polishing capabilities.
• During work, the pad temperature is crucial for its lifespan, as it can heat up to high temperatures while polishing paint.
• If you sand the paint for a long time and frequently overheat the pad, you will significantly shorten its life.
• Therefore monitor the temperature and if the pad is overheated, let it cool down for a while.
• At high temperature both the foam and the pad adhesive suffer.
• The polishing pad needs to be cleaned often during the polishing process; otherwise it will stop working and polishing will not be effective.
• Once the pad is clogged with polishing compound, it needs to be addressed.
• You can take a medium-stiff brush (e.g. Poka Premium Brush for Details and Pad cleaning - Hard Blue) and set the polisher to lower speed, idle in hand, and brush out the old compound with the brush. Just hold the brush in your hand and let the polisher spin the pad.
• Be careful not to throw the used compound onto the freshly polished paint during rotary cleaning.
• If you own an air compressor, you can use it and in the same way blow the pad while the polisher is on.
• After successful machine polishing the pad also needs to be prepared so it can ideally be used again in the future.
• We recommend washing the polishing pad in a washing machine at 40 °C using a detergent intended for microfiber.
• We recommend using a high-quality detergent Gyeon Q²M TowelWash.
• Never wash pads together with towels or rags!
• Do not put pads in the dryer after washing; let them dry naturally laid on a drying towel with the polishing side down.
• If you don't have a washing machine available, you can wash the pads by hand using one of the APC cleaners (e.g. Gyeon Q²M APC) diluted at a ratio of 1:6.
• Polishing pads should be stored in a dry place out of direct sunlight, ideally in a closed clean plastic box.
