The Honey COMBination Polishing Pad 2Face Fiber is a microfiber polishing pad designed for single-step paint correction for orbital polishers. The pad is made of microfiber with two types of fibers: white (aggressive) and black (finishing). The combination of abrasive and finishing fibers in one product allows the use of a single pad for various steps, such as sanding and final polishing. The fibers are 20% shorter to slow down clogging with paste and make cleaning quick and easy. The open-cell foam interface provides high working comfort, increased durability, and significantly reduced working temperature. The hole in the center of the pad ensures better cooling during use and makes it easier to attach to the backing plate. The HoneyCombination 2Face Fiber Pad is made from selected, high-quality materials, which allow it to be reused multiple times.

How to Care for Polishing Pads

• Proper care of polishing pads is crucial for their longevity and future polishing performance.
• The temperature of the pad is very important during use as it can heat up to high temperatures while polishing paint.
• If you sand paint for extended periods and frequently overheat the pad, its lifespan will be significantly reduced.
• Monitor the temperature, and if the pad is overheated, allow it to cool down.
• High temperatures affect both the foam and the adhesive of the pad.
• Clean the polishing pad frequently during the polishing process, otherwise, it will stop functioning effectively.
• Once the pad is clogged with polishing paste, it needs to be addressed.
• Use a medium-soft brush and set the polisher to a lower speed to brush out the old paste. Hold the brush in your hand and let the polisher rotate the pad.
• Be careful not to fling used paste onto the polished paint of the car during rotary cleaning.
• If you have an air compressor, you can use it to blow out the pad in the same way with the polisher running.
• After successful machine polishing, the pad should be prepared for future use.
• We recommend washing the polishing pad in a washing machine at 40°C using a detergent suitable for microfiber.
• Do not wash pads together with towels or cloths!
• Do not place washed pads in a dryer; let them air-dry on a drying towel with the polishing side down.
• If you do not have access to a washing machine, you can hand wash the pads with an APC cleaner, diluted in a ratio of 1:6.
• Store polishing pads in a dry place away from direct sunlight, preferably in a closed clean plastic box.
