Gyeon Q²R MarinePolish Step 2 is an effective polishing compound for boats designed to leave the surface completely free of holograms and with a high level of gloss. It has medium polishing performance, making it a great compound for one-step paint refreshes. The Q²R MarinePolish Step 2 compound has proven its ability to work with rotary and orbital polishers, making it a fully versatile polishing compound. The resulting glossy finish of the paint surpasses all competing medium-strength compounds, and it is also an excellent finishing compound. It works with all quality polishing pads.

How to use

Before machine polishing the paint, thoroughly decontaminate and dry the surface.
When working with an abrasive compound always use a pad suitable for the given compound, here we recommend for example a polishing pad Gyeon Q²M Eccentric Finish.
Shake the bottle with the compound and apply a small amount of compound to the polishing pad.
Work on an area of approx. 50 x 50 cm.
Work using the cross-coating method, polishing in a cross pattern.
At the beginning of the polishing process use mild pressure and gradually ease the pressure.
When performing final polishing use rather medium to lower machine speeds.
Each paint is individual and it is sometimes necessary to test which pressure and machine speed are optimal.
Once you finish the polishing process, remove all compound residues with a microfiber cloth (e.g. Purestar Grass Buffing Towel).
If you are not satisfied with the result, you can re-polish the given panel repeatedly until the paint is perfectly glossy.
