The Ground Zero GZRK 165SQX midrange speakers from the Radioactive series are the first in GZ's product lines designed for sound quality installations. The midrange speaker uses a black anodized aluminum diaphragm that combines low weight and high rigidity for maximum accuracy, fast response, and minimal distortion. The massive aluminum phase plug improves the directionality of midrange frequencies while efficiently dissipating heat from the coil, supporting long-term performance stability. The diaphragm is equipped with a copper dust cap for linear impedance flow, improving transmission stability and reducing distortion. The speakers also feature 3-ohm impedance for higher efficiency, a nomex spider, rubber surround, and a resonance-neutral steel basket.
