The Ground Zero GZRC 165.2SQX component speaker system from the Radioactive series is the first in the GZ product line designed for sound quality installations. The midbass driver uses a black anodized aluminum cone that combines low weight and high rigidity for maximum accuracy, fast response, and minimal distortion. The massive aluminum phase plug improves the directivity of mid frequencies while effectively dissipating heat from the coil, supporting long-term performance stability. The cone is equipped with a copper dust cap for linear impedance flow, improving transmission stability and reducing distortion. The speakers also feature 3-ohm impedance for higher efficiency, a Nomex spider, rubber surround, and a resonance-neutral steel basket. The 25mm tweeter with a transparent silk dome and neodymium motor delivers smooth and detailed highs. The system is supplied without a passive crossover, making it ideal for active wiring via DSP with maximum sound control and the possibility of individual fine-tuning.
