The Ground Zero GZRC 165.2SQX component speaker system from the Radioactive series is the first in the GZ product line designed for sound quality installations. The mid-bass speaker uses a black anodized aluminum cone, combining low weight and high stiffness for maximum accuracy, fast response, and minimal distortion. A massive aluminum phase plug improves the directivity of mid frequencies while effectively dissipating heat from the coil, thus supporting long-term performance stability. The cone is equipped with a copper dust cap for a linear impedance curve, which improves transmission stability and reduces distortion. The speakers also feature a 3-ohm impedance for higher efficiency, a Nomex spider, rubber surround, and a resonance-neutral steel basket. The tweeter with a 25mm transparent silk dome and neodymium motor delivers gentle and detailed highs.
