It reliably removes embedded contaminants that cannot be washed away with regular car shampoo. It prepares the surface for subsequent machine or hand polishing and the application of protective layers.

During everyday use a variety of aggressive contaminants settle on the bodywork, such as fallout rust, tar, asphalt residues, tree sap or insect remains. These particles adhere firmly to the paint surface and gradually damage it. Regular washing cannot remove these microscopic contaminants, which results in a rough surface to the touch and a loss of deep gloss.

This decontamination clay works like a magnet for impurities. How to use

• Before using the clay, wash the car thoroughly with car shampoo.
• Perform the work in the shade; the bodywork must be cool to the touch.
• Break off a smaller piece of clay and shape it into a flat pebble or pad.
• Briefly moisten the clay in lukewarm water before use for better pliability.
• Spray a sufficient amount of suitable lubricant onto the panel to be cleaned.
• With light pressure, move the clay over the lubricated surface using back-and-forth motions.
• Never work on a dry surface; it must remain slippery at all times.
• You will notice the gradual removal of contamination by the diminishing noise or squeak when moving the clay.
• Continuously check the smoothness of the paint with your fingertips.
• After cleaning the panel, wipe off lubricant residues with a microfiber cloth.
• Regularly fold the clay with the dirty side inward so you always work with a clean surface.
