The unique hexagonal (HEX) pattern on the foam surface plays a key role in distributing the polishing compound. This pattern helps keep the compound evenly spread across the working area, preventing it from drying out prematurely or being flung off the panel. The result is longer working time with less compound and a smoother polishing process without unnecessary interruptions.

The pad's construction is designed with maximum safety and control over the polished surface in mind. The special beveled profile (wedge design) uses a 125 mm backing pad, while the polishing surface expands to 150 mm. This shape provides a larger contact area, speeding up work on larger surfaces while protecting surrounding edges from unwanted contact with the rigid backing pad. The very thin profile of approximately 20 to 25 mm minimises energy losses transmitted from the orbital polisher to the paint surface. Machine power is thus transferred directly to the paint, significantly increasing cutting power and defect removal efficiency.

Heat is the biggest risk when polishing paint because it can damage the surface or cause the polishing mixture to dry too quickly. This pad is therefore equipped with a central hole to effectively remove heat from the inner area. In combination with high-quality German foam and the HEX structure, continuous cooling occurs during rotation.
