Audi Q7 - installation of speakers and amplifier with DSP processor

Installation of a new audio system in an Audi Q7 that came equipped only with the basic sound system. Although it is one of the better basic systems, it does not provide the expected quality for a demanding listener. The client’s requirement was therefore clear: a significant improvement in sound quality. We focused first on replacing the factory speakers, choosing top components from the Italian manufacturer Steg. For the front doors we selected component speakers that are specifically designed for the Audi Q7. The speakers therefore have the same dimensions, shape, mounting and connectors as the factory speakers — only the sound is miles away from the original. A welcome benefit is the 200 mm mid-bass driver, which provides much-needed dynamics. For the rear doors we chose component speakers from the same manufacturer. The heart of the entire system is a new six-channel amplifier with an integrated DSP processor, on which we will finely tune the sound to suit this car and our customer. The result is top-tier sound that easily surpasses the optional Bose or B&O systems installed in Audi cars.View products >Hide products >
