Amplifier with DSP Match UP 10DSP 24V
The UP 10DSP is MATCH’s most powerful amplifier with integrated DSP. It features the new ADEP.3 circuitry, ensuring full compatibility with the latest vehicle models. It offers ten amplifier channels plus additional preamp outputs, which together with the integrated 11-channel DSP allow precise control of individual and complex audio systems. Two of the output channels deliver 160 W RMS into 2 ohms — enough to drive large subwoofers. Despite its concentrated power (8 x 65 W at 4 ohms and 2 x 90/160 W at 4/2 ohms on the sub outputs) and a huge range of features, the UP 10DSP comes in an extremely compact design so it can be installed in tight spaces. Brutal power is nothing without “intelligent control” — which is why the UP 10DSP includes a state-of-the-art 64‑bit DSP of the latest generation, enabling revolutionary proprietary audio features such as Augmented Bass Processing, StageXpander and the RealCenter function. For optimal adaptation to existing multi‑channel audio systems, the UP 10DSP is equipped with at least 8 high‑level inputs (two of which can accept up to 32 V), an optical digital input, a slot for a MATCH expansion card, 10 amplifier outputs and a total of 11 processed DSP channels. Safe operation is ensured by intelligent technologies such as the proprietary ADEP.3 circuitry and the 32‑bit ACO platform. Simply enjoy music from your smartphone in unprecedented quality. The UP 10DSP can be expanded via the MATCH Extension Card (MEC) slot to add several additional input and output interfaces, for example a Bluetooth audio streaming module or a USB high‑resolution audio interface. With our professional and user‑friendly DSP PC‑Tool V4 software, configuring and setting up the UP 10DSP is straightforward and intuitive.
Maximum connectivity
To optimally adapt to existing multi‑channel factory audio systems, the UP 10DSP is equipped with at least 8 high‑level inputs (two of which can withstand high voltages up to 32 V), an optical digital input, a slot for a MATCH extension card, 10 amplifier outputs and a total of 11 processed DSP channels. Safe operation is additionally provided by intelligent technologies such as the proprietary ADEP.3 circuitry and the 32‑bit ACO platform.
Virtual channel processing — how signal routing works today
Adapting to modern factory audio systems makes signal routing inside an amplifier increasingly complex due to the growing number of signal inputs. Conventional routing concepts quickly reach their limits, especially when several input signals are mixed and then redistributed to multi‑way systems. Audiotec Fischer’s new multi‑stage Virtual Channel Processing, combined with the proven, user‑friendly DSP PC‑Tool software, makes it easy to map very complex system configurations and freely assign proprietary FX functions such as RealCenter or Dynamic Bass Enhancement. Thanks to the large number of channels and the optional MEC ANALOG IN module, the UP 10DSP is also ideal for 1:1 channel routing (IOR) applications.
Speed is everything — thanks to ACO
Such a large number of channels requires ultra‑fast hardware — the proprietary 32‑bit ACO platform from Audiotec Fischer handles all control tasks and ensures high speed, particularly for data communication with our DSP PC software, and for lightning‑fast switching between up to ten possible sound presets. Fantastic audio effects tied to the ACO platform, like Augmented Bass Processing, StageXpander or RealCenter, are as natural on the UP 10DSP as the 8‑band input EQ with Input Signal Analyzer (ISA) for easy analysis and compensation of input signals from OE radios.
Power pack in compact format
Despite its concentrated output of 8 x 65 W at 4 ohms and 2 x 90 / 160 W at 4 / 2 ohms for the sub outputs and its extensive feature set, the UP 10DSP is extremely compact and can be installed even in confined spaces.
Class GD technology
Audiotec Fischer’s unique Class GD concept combines the advantages of Class G technology with the operating principle of Class D amplifiers. The result is an unusually high efficiency that surpasses conventional Class D amplifiers. The benefits of the Class GD concept become apparent at low and medium modulation levels: the internal supply voltage of the power stages changes in steps according to the amplitude of the input signal, drastically reducing the average power loss generated by the amplifier.
ACO — advanced 32‑bit coprocessor
The MATCH UP10DSP amplifier uses a particularly powerful, latest‑generation 32‑bit coprocessor for all internal and external control and communication tasks. Compared to the previously used 8‑bit processor, this delivers significant speed advantages not only when switching between sound presets but especially in data communication with our DSP PC software. Another major advantage is the integrated native CoProcessor bootloader, which allows software upgrades for all DSP components — for example to adapt the microcontroller‑controlled ADEP.3 circuit to future changes in factory radio diagnostic systems or to expand the unit with additional interfaces. Thanks to new flash memory, the ACO also provides space for 10 sound presets instead of the usual two.
Intelligent high‑level input ADEP.3
Modern factory radios are becoming increasingly sophisticated in diagnosing connected speakers. The latest generations include additional monitoring functions that can cause error messages or malfunctions when an external amplifier is connected. The new ADEP.3 (Advanced Diagnostics Error Protection Generation 3) circuitry prevents these issues without unnecessarily loading the radio’s speaker outputs.
Start‑Stop capability
The UP10DSP’s power supply maintains internal operation even during short voltage drops down to 6 volts, ensuring the amplifier remains fully functional during engine start. If board voltage falls below 10.5 volts for longer than 5 seconds, the amplifier switches to Protect Mode (status LED steady red) to prevent further battery drain.
Automatic digital signal detection
The UP10DSP supports signal‑driven switching between analog and digital inputs. When an audio signal is detected on the optical input, the amplifier switches to that input. This function can be activated in the DSP PC‑Tool software or alternatively controlled manually via an optional remote control.
Power save mode
Power Save Mode significantly reduces the UP10DSP’s power consumption (and that of any connected amplifiers) when no input signal is present for more than 60 seconds. When active, the internal power stages and the remote output are switched off, greatly lowering power draw. The amplifier returns to normal operation within 2 seconds when an audio signal appears at the input. The shutdown delay can be adjusted or disabled entirely in the DSP PC‑Tool software.
RealCenter
RealCenter is Audiotec Fischer’s proprietary algorithm that extracts the monophonic information from the left and right front channels to create a genuine center signal. Unlike conventional methods that simply sum channels, RealCenter dynamically controls the center signal based on the stereo content of the left and right channels. This means the center channel does not reproduce signal when audio is present only in the left or only in the right channel — with conventional algorithms the center would simply be 6 dB lower in such cases. RealCenter delivers a unique, wide soundstage that is ideal for both driver and passenger, eliminating the drawbacks of narrow, intrusive center channel imaging.
Augmented Bass Processing
Audiotec Fischer’s proprietary Augmented Bass Processing consists of two revolutionary functions: Dynamic Bass Enhancement and SubXpander. They are specifically designed to dramatically improve bass response from subwoofers. Dynamic Bass Enhancement cleverly combines very deep bass with high maximum acoustic output — regardless of music genre or radio settings. Depending on the input signal, Dynamic Bass Enhancement both boosts the low‑frequency range and shifts the cutoff of the subsonic filter. The result is noticeably more powerful, deeper bass reproduction at low and medium volumes without risking mechanical or electrical overload of the subwoofer at high levels. If you want an even deeper, “blacker” bass range, SubXpander can be activated to add additional subharmonic content to the fundamental tones between 50 and 100 Hz.
StageXpander
Depending on speaker layout in the vehicle, the stereo stage perceived in the front seats can be narrow. Installing a center speaker can sometimes further restrict spatial reproduction. The new Audiotec Fischer StageXpander removes these acoustic boundaries, creating a significantly wider stereo foundation without negatively impacting the localization accuracy of vocals or instruments. The effect can be adjusted to taste in four levels.
ClarityXpander
Want more clarity and presence in the high frequencies? The ClarityXpander adds controlled high‑frequency sheen in three selectable levels, especially useful when the original speakers lack sparkle. The extra treble boost is available not only for the two front channels but also independently for the center channel. For center channels and material rich in overtones, an automatic dynamic control of the added harmonic component can be enabled to prevent listener fatigue.
