The amplifier’s power can drive even larger subwoofers, as two of its output channels deliver an impressive 160 W at 2 Ohms—ideal for particularly demanding speakers.

With the same number of inputs and amplifier channels, the UP 6DSP is also an ideal solution for applications where 1:1 input-to-output routing (IOR) makes sense.

The MATCH UP 6DSP can of course be easily configured using the professional and highly intuitive DSP PC‑Tool 5. The familiar and extensive adjustment options meet all expectations and ensure extremely precise tuning even for complex setups. The new proprietary TuneEQ function for automatic frequency response correction also saves a lot of time during sound optimization.

TuneEQ

TuneEQ is an exceptionally flexible and very easy‑to‑use feature for automatic frequency response correction. A single measurement on one or several channels using a suitable measurement microphone is enough, and TuneEQ then independently and precisely sets the equalizers according to the chosen reference curve. TuneEQ uses the full possibilities of the parametric equalizer—including center frequency, Q‑factor and gain settings. Because all complex calculations run in the background, TuneEQ saves a lot of time when optimizing the sound.

RealCenter

RealCenter is an algorithm developed by Audiotec Fischer that highlights musical information present in both the left and right front channels and creates a unique center signal from them. Unlike common methods that simply sum channels, the intensity of the center signal is dynamically controlled based on the stereo content of the left and right channels. It may sound complex, but the result is stunning: if only the left or right channel plays, the center channel remains silent. With conventional algorithms the center volume is only reduced by 6 dB (half the volume). Thanks to RealCenter you get a unique, wide soundstage for driver and passenger simultaneously. The drawbacks of classic center channels, such as a intrusive and narrow sound image, become a thing of the past.

Augmented Bass Processing

The proprietary Augmented Bass Processing from Audiotec Fischer consists of two revolutionary functions—Dynamic Bass Enhancement and SubXpander—which were developed specifically to dramatically improve subwoofer bass reproduction.

• Dynamic Bass Enhancement cleverly combines maximum bass depth with the highest sound pressure—regardless of music genre or tone control settings in the head unit. Based on the input signal, it raises the low‑frequency level while variably shifting the cutoff frequency of the subsonic filter. The result is noticeably stronger and deeper bass at low and medium volumes without risking subwoofer overload at higher volumes.

• For an even deeper and “darker” bass character, the SubXpander can be activated, which adds subharmonic tones to the fundamental tones in the 50–100 Hz range.
