ADBL Roller Polish DA 50 is a polishing pad suitable for dual action polishers that works effectively with all types of polishing compounds. The highest quality foam and precise manufacturing ensure an excellent level of paint polishing. A larger hook-and-loop (Velcro) surface (than the diameter of the backing plate) allows very quick fitting and removal of the pad. A conical edge shape provides maximum efficiency combined with complete safety during work. The pad's working surface is 70 mm, so we recommend a backing plate with a diameter of 50 mm. Suitable for removing mild paint defects or for use after a more abrasive pad.

How to care for polishing pads

• Care for polishing pads is important for their long life and future polishing capability.
• During work the temperature of the pad itself is very important for its lifespan, as the pad can heat up to high temperatures while polishing paint.
• If you sand the paint for a long time and frequently overheat the pad, you significantly shorten its lifespan.
• Therefore monitor the temperature and if the pad is overheated, let it cool down for a while.
• High temperatures damage both the foam and the pad adhesive.
• The polishing pad needs to be cleaned frequently during the polishing process, otherwise it will stop working and polishing will not be effective.
• As soon as the pad is clogged with polishing compound, you need to address it.
• You can take a medium-soft brush (e.g. Poka Premium Brush for Details and Pad cleaning - Hard Blue) and set the polisher to lower speed, hold it idle in your hand and brush out the old compound.
• Just hold the brush in your hand and let the polisher spin the pad. Be careful not to fling used compound onto the newly polished paint.
• If you own an air compressor, you can use it the same way and simply blow the pad out while the polisher is running.
• After a successful machine polishing process, the pad should also be prepared so it can ideally be used next time.
• We recommend washing the polishing pad in a washing machine at 40 °C using a detergent designed for microfibre. We recommend the high-quality detergent Gyeon Q²M TowelWash, which works excellently.
• Never wash pads together with towels or cloths!
• Do not put pads in the dryer after washing; let them air dry laid on a drying towel with the polishing side down.
• If you don’t have a washing machine available, you can also wash pads by hand using a special pad cleaner ADBL Pad Cleaner.
• Polishing pads should be stored in a dry place out of direct sunlight, ideally in a closed clean plastic box.
