ADBL Roller Hard Cut DA 50 Cutting Pads (5 pcs)
ADBL Roller Hard Cut DA 50 is a hard cutting pad suitable for orbital dual-action polishers and works effectively with all types of cutting compounds. The highest quality foam and precise manufacturing ensure excellent cutting performance. A larger hook-and-loop area (than the backing plate diameter) allows very quick attachment and removal of the pad. Slightly tapered edges provide maximum efficiency combined with safe operation. The pad's working surface is 70 mm, so we recommend using a 50 mm backing plate. Suitable for removing pronounced paint defects.
Main features

How to care for polishing pads
- Taking care of polishing pads is important for their long life and future polishing performance.
- During use, the pad temperature is crucial for its lifespan, as the pad can heat up to high temperatures while polishing paint.
- If you sand the paint for a long time and frequently overheat the pad, you significantly shorten its life.
- Therefore monitor the temperature and if the pad is overheated, let it cool down for a while.
- High temperatures damage both the foam and the pad adhesive.
- Polishing pads need to be cleaned often during the polishing process; otherwise they stop working effectively and polishing results will suffer.
- As soon as the pad becomes clogged with polish, you need to address it.
- You can take a medium-stiff brush (for example, Poka Premium Brush for Details and Pad cleaning - Hard Blue) and set the polisher to low speed, holding it idle in your hand while brushing the old compound out of the pad.
- Hold the brush in your hand and let the polisher spin the pad. Be careful not to fling used compound onto freshly polished paint.
- If you have an air compressor, you can use it the same way to blow the pad clean while the polisher is running.
- After successful machine polishing, you should also prepare the pad for next use.
- We recommend washing the polishing pad in a washing machine at 40 °C using a detergent designed for microfiber. We recommend the high-quality detergent Gyeon Q²M TowelWash, which works excellently.
- Never wash pads together with towels or cloths!
- Do not tumble-dry pads after washing; let them air-dry laid on a drying towel with the polishing surface facing down.
- If you don't have a washing machine available, you can also hand-wash pads using a dedicated pad cleaner ADBL Pad Cleaner.
- Polishing pads should be stored in a dry place out of direct sunlight, ideally in a closed clean plastic box.
