The hard abrasive pad specifically designed for use with orbital (dual action) polishers effectively removes deep scratches and paint defects. With precise workmanship and quality foam, it provides consistent cutting performance throughout use. It’s an ideal choice for paint correction when working with various types of cutting compounds.

The pad features a well-thought-out design with a slightly tapered edge shape, which increases safety when working near edges and body folds. A wider hook-and-loop area compared to the backing plate diameter facilitates quick centering, mounting and subsequent removal from the polisher. This significantly speeds up work and minimizes the risk of damaging the pad during handling.

The high-density foam with an open-cell structure minimizes surface heat buildup and retains its properties under prolonged load. The pad is optimized for use with a 30 mm backing plate, while its working surface measures 50 mm. This size is ideal for local paint repairs, polishing intricate details and hard-to-reach areas.

Thanks to its ability to efficiently transfer movement from the polisher to the painted surface, you can quickly remove even very pronounced paint defects. The pad works in perfect synergy with all kinds of coarse cutting compounds and is a reliable tool for professional detailers as well as enthusiastic amateurs who demand precise results.

How to care for polishing pads

Proper care of polishing pads is crucial to extend their life and preserve optimal properties.
Monitor pad temperature during polishing, as excessive heat damages the foam structure and adhesive.
Do not allow the pad to overheat during extended work; let it cool when necessary.
Regularly clean the pad from leftover polishing compound during work to maintain maximum efficiency.
To clean accumulated compound use a medium-soft brush, for example Poka Premium Brush for Details and Pad cleaning - Hard Blue, with the polisher running at low speed.
Alternatively, a clogged pad can be effectively blown out using compressed air from a compressor.
After finishing polishing, wash the pad in a washing machine at 40 °C using a microfiber detergent such as Gyeon Q²M TowelWash.
Never wash polishing pads together with microfiber cloths or towels.
After washing, do not tumble dry the pads; let them air-dry on a drying towel with the working side facing down.
For hand washing we recommend using the special cleaner ADBL Pad Cleaner.
Store pads in a dry and clean place away from sunlight, ideally in a closable plastic box.
