The Ultimo SC-X represents the latest generation of the legendary Morel subwoofers and brings significant improvements in all key areas. A newly designed motor, enhanced voice coil, reworked suspension, and innovative diaphragm design make this subwoofer a reference in its class. Carbon Fiber and Paper Membrane
The sandwich membrane made from a hybrid composite of carbon fiber and paper offers up to 200% higher rigidity than standard materials, contributing to a highly controlled and precise bass response without distortion. This material combination ensures excellent damping without unwanted resonances. The new suspension system allows for greater diaphragm excursion, offering an even wider dynamic range. The Ultimo SC-X can accurately and confidently reproduce even the most demanding bass passages with full power and control.
DMM™ – Double Magnet Motor System
The Ultimo SC-X subwoofers utilize the advanced DMM™ (Double Magnet Motor) system, combining a pair of powerful ferrite magnets to maximize magnetic efficiency. The result is more precise coil movement, higher power reserve, and minimal distortion even at maximum load.
5.1" Hexatech™ Voice Coil
The foundation of the subwoofer is a large 5.1" aluminum voice coil with Hexatech™ technology, ensuring extreme load capacity, excellent cooling, and piston-like linear movement without distortion. Thanks to this construction, the SC-X delivers deep and precise bass even at high power.
Optimized Motor
The ventilated motor with a clever design significantly improves cooling, extending coil life and eliminating thermal compression during long-term use. Additionally, the heavy-duty steel Uniflow basket eliminates vibrations and contributes to sound purity.
Design and Use
The package also includes a completely new protective grille inspired by the shape of a lotus flower, highlighting the unique design of this new generation. The connection is handled by robust 10 AWG spring terminals for easy and reliable installation. The SC-X subwoofers are suitable for use in both sealed and bass reflex enclosures. Thanks to its tuning, it offers both high acoustic pressure and precise, detailed reproduction. It excels in any system focused on sound quality.
