Cleaning and maintenance of rubber trays

Cleanliness and order in the car are not only aesthetically pleasing but also safer for everything you transport. Dust and coarse dirt that settle in the tray over time can scratch carried items, so it’s a good idea to keep the tray clean. We recommend cleaning the rubber tray at least once every two months, or more often if you transport items frequently. Here is a simple method:

• First, vacuum the tray thoroughly. (Either inside the car or outside.)
• Alternatively, shake out the dirt outside in a suitable area.
• Vacuum the luggage compartment itself.
• Place the tray outside on a clean surface or hang it up to dry.
• It is desirable that the underside of the tray remains clean.
• Spray an all-purpose cleaner lightly and let it work for 1–2 minutes.
• If the tray is heavily soiled, use a brush to scrub stubborn dirt.
• Ideally, rinse the dirt away with a pressure washer and let the tray air dry.
• If a pressure washer is not available, use a long-pile microfiber cloth to wipe away the cleaner.
• Once clean and dry, place the rubber tray back into the car.
