Polishing Paste for PPF Films Gyeon Q2M PPF Renew
Gyeon Q²M PPF Renew is a high-quality polishing paste that combines light abrasive particles with protective (and repellent) additives, creating a UV-resistant effect with high chemical resistance. Maintenance of the protective PPF film has never been easier. The paste allows both machine and hand application, removes haze and oxidation, and leaves a smooth, glossy PPF surface. It is the first polishing paste containing silicon dioxide designed from the ground up to work optimally on all types of PPF films (including the latest self-healing ones). Even high-quality self-healing PPF films become dirty, dull and lose their initial smoothness over time. Gyeon Q²M PPF Renew provides a safe solution. Thanks to its light abrasive properties, this paste can dramatically improve gloss. Its cleaning effect removes bonded contamination deep in the porous structure of the PPF, restoring the original smoothness and delivering a silky touch. It is also a great base before applying a ceramic coating, even on PPF that has been on the car for some time.

How to use
- Before you start, watch the official Gyeon YouTube video.
- Before machine polishing the PPF, wash the surface thoroughly and dry the car completely.
- Before starting, put on protective rubber gloves.
- For washing PPF film, the decontaminating car shampoo Gyeon Q²M PPF Wash is a great helper.
- When working with the paste, use the correct pad; Gyeon recommends white finishing pads (Gyeon Q²M Eccentric Finish).
- Shake the bottle and apply a small amount of paste to the polishing pad.
- It is advisable to slightly dampen the polishing pad before first use.
- This is not paint correction, so you can polish larger areas or even the whole car at once.
- Start with medium pressure and gradually reduce pressure during the process.
- Do not heat the PPF film; ensure the surface remains lukewarm during machine polishing—do not overheat the film!
- Use medium to low polisher speeds.
- Once polishing is complete, remove all paste residues with a microfiber towel (e.g. Purestar Grass Buffing Towel).
- After polishing and removing residues, thoroughly degrease the surface using the paint cleaner Gyeon Q²M Prep.
- Next, it is advisable to apply a protective ceramic coating to extend the life of the PPF and increase its gloss and hydrophobicity.
