ADBL Roller Soft Polish R
The ADBL Roller Soft Polish R is a soft foam polishing pad designed to achieve a flawless final gloss on bodywork without unwanted holograms and micro-scratches. This pad is specially developed for use with rotary polishers and works excellently with all types of finishing polishing compounds. Thanks to its thoughtful shape and premium materials, it ensures safe, effective and comfortable work during final polishing stages.
When performing final polishing on bodywork, choosing the right accessories is key to extracting maximum depth and shine from the paint. This soft polishing pad is an ideal choice for removing minor imperfections, light circular scratches or as a final step after previous heavy sanding. The special open-cell foam structure minimizes surface heating, significantly reducing the risk of paint damage and extending the pad's lifespan.
The unique conical shape with a lateral chamfer brings several essential advantages for any detailer. It provides optimal pressure distribution during polishing and also acts as a safety feature when working near edges, folds or hard-to-reach areas. The hook-and-loop diameter is intentionally slightly larger than common backing plates, allowing lightning-fast centering, easy fitting and trouble-free removal of the pad without the risk of tearing the foam.
The pad's construction is fully optimized for the specific movements of rotary polishers, where higher friction and heat generation occur. The high-quality polyurethane foam maintains its elasticity and consistent polishing performance even under prolonged load. How to care for polishing pads
- Proper care of polishing pads is essential for their long life and maintenance of optimal properties.
- During work, closely monitor the pad temperature, because excessive overheating during long polishing sessions significantly shortens its lifespan.
- If the pad gets too hot, let it cool sufficiently before further polishing.
- High temperatures negatively affect both the foam structure and the strength of the adhesive used.
- Regularly clean the pad during work to prevent it from clogging with dried polishing compound and losing effectiveness.
- For cleaning during polishing, use a medium-soft brush, for example Poka Premium Brush for Details and Pad cleaning - Hard Blue, at low polisher speed running idle.
- If you have a compressor available, you can blow clogged compound out of the rotating pad with compressed air.
- After finishing work, thoroughly wash the pad in a washing machine at 40 °C using a special microfiber detergent; we recommend Gyeon Q²M TowelWash.
- Never wash polishing pads together with microfiber cloths or towels.
- After washing, do not put pads in the dryer; let them air-dry freely on a drying towel with the working surface facing down.
- For hand washing, we recommend using a special cleaner ADBL Pad Cleaner.
- Store pads in a dry and clean place away from sunlight, ideally in a sealable plastic box.
