DVR camera integrated into the rearview mirror Nakamichi ND417F
The Nakamichi ND417F is a premium dash camera integrated into the rearview mirror that combines discreet installation, a large touchscreen and high-resolution driving recording. Compared to the ND416T model, it features a larger 10.99" IPS display and a front camera with up to 4K 3840 × 2160 px resolution. This captures even more detail important for, for example, identifying license plates or assessing traffic situations. Lower resolutions of 1440p or 1080p can also be selected in the settings.
The system includes a rear camera that allows simultaneous recording of the area behind the vehicle and enables the ND417F to be used as a digital rearview mirror with an unobstructed view. The display can show the front camera, the rear camera or a split preview from both cameras. When reverse gear is engaged, the rear view is automatically activated with adjustable guiding lines. Integrated WLAN enables connection to a mobile phone via the Nakamichi Dashcam app, where you can watch the live view, adjust selected settings and download or share recorded footage.
Loop recording saves footage in 1, 3 or 5 minute intervals and automatically overwrites the oldest unprotected files when the memory card is full. The built-in G-sensor locks important recordings against overwriting when a collision is detected and offers several sensitivity levels. With suitable power, the camera also supports time-lapse parking monitoring with adjustable durations of 12, 24 or 72 hours and vehicle battery protection against excessive discharge. Recordings are stored in TS format using the H.264 codec on a microSD card with capacity up to 128 GB. A microphone, speaker, brightness adjustment, date and time display and a modern USB-C power connector are also included.

About the brand
The history of the Nakamichi brand dates back to 1948, when it was founded in Japan by Etsuro Nakamichi. His journey began with the establishment of the Nakamichi Research Corporation in Tokyo, focused on research of sonars, magnets and development solutions for leading brands, government institutions and universities. From the beginning, the brand was built on a scientific approach, deep understanding of sound and emphasis on technical precision. A major expansion period came in 1972, when Takeshi Nakamichi joined the company and significantly contributed to the development of legendary audio products sold worldwide. Under his leadership, models such as the Nakamichi 1000—the world’s first cassette deck—were developed. Thanks to the combination of top-tier sound and timeless design, to which chief engineer Kozo Kobayashi also contributed, Nakamichi products became icons of their era. The Nakamichi brand remains successful today, offering a portfolio of high-quality products for home and car audio that stand out for thoughtful construction, quality workmanship and excellent sound within their price category.
