The Honey COMBination Microfiber Polishing Pad is a high-quality microfiber pad designed for orbital polishers. It is ideal for polishing heavily damaged paintwork. The strong binding of microfibers on a hard backing (1 fiber = 144 microfibers) is designed to polish out deeper scratches. It removes larger imperfections while providing a decent finish, resulting in time savings. The base of the pad is made of 10mm polyurethane foam with a hook and loop attachment.

How to Care for Polishing Pads
- Caring for polishing pads is crucial for their longevity and future polishing performance.
- The temperature of the pad itself during use is critical for its lifespan, as it can heat up to high temperatures while polishing paintwork.
- If you polish the paint for an extended period and frequently overheat the pad, you significantly reduce its lifespan.
- Therefore, monitor the temperature and allow the pad to cool down if it overheats.
- High temperatures can damage both the foam and the adhesive of the pad.
- The polishing pad needs frequent cleaning during the polishing process, or it will stop functioning effectively.
- Once the pad is clogged with polishing compound, it needs to be addressed.
- You can use a medium-soft brush and set the polisher to low speed to brush out the old compound. Simply hold the brush in your hand and let the polisher rotate the pad.
- Be careful not to fling used compound onto the polished surface of the car during rotational cleaning.
- If you have an air compressor, you can use it to blow out the pad while the polisher is on.
- After a successful machine polishing process, it's essential to prepare the pad for future use.
- We recommend washing the pad in a machine at 40°C using a detergent designed for microfiber.
- Never wash pads together with towels or cloths!
- Do not tumble dry the pads; let them air dry on a towel with the polishing side down.
- If you don't have access to a washing machine, you can hand wash the pads using an APC cleaner diluted at a 1:6 ratio.
- Polishing pads should be stored in a dry place away from direct sunlight, ideally in a sealed clean plastic box.
