Helix HEC BT HD

The BT HD expansion card adds Bluetooth^® audio streaming in HD quality — up to 576 kb/s and 24‑bit/48 kHz — thanks to Bluetooth 5.0. Supported audio codecs include SBC, AAC, aptX and aptX HD. The board also features an optical SPDIF digital output.

High-resolution sound

Thanks to the Qualcomm^® aptX^™ HD audio codec, wireless transmission of HD-quality audio is possible and stable. Direct processing of the digital signals from the BT HD module into the DSP without additional A/D or D/A conversion ensures lossless signal handling and outstanding audio performance.

Full control

The HEC BT HD supports control commands such as play/pause, track forward/back, connect, pair and disconnect for connected DSP remote controls (e.g. CONDUCTOR and DIRECTOR). The DIRECTOR display also shows the current artist and track title as well as the audio codec currently in use.
