ADBL PPF Gel
A professional water-based installation gel containing lubricating agents, designed for easy and precise application of protective polyurethane films (PPF). It significantly facilitates positioning of the film even on the most complex-shaped parts of the bodywork and minimizes the risk of adhesive damage. Thanks to its safe formulation it is an ideal choice for anyone seeking flawless results when installing films.
Applying protective PPF films requires maximum accuracy and sufficient time for proper placement. This installation gel provides optimal slip, allowing long and very precise positioning of the film on the vehicle surface. It greatly reduces stress during work and eliminates the risk of unsightly marks from premature adhesive contact with the paint.
The gel’s composition is 99% water supplemented with special lubricating additives, ensuring maximum gentleness for sensitive materials. You can safely use it on vulnerable glossy black surfaces (piano black), interior displays, mirrors or complex contours. The gel can also be diluted with water up to 1:3 depending on the needs of the application, making it a highly effective and economical product.
Another major advantage is its easy washability – after installation simply rinse it off with water without risk of stains or residues under the film. When applied near seals and gaps the gel acts as an effective barrier that prevents settled contaminants from being washed out under the freshly applied film. The result is a perfectly clean installation free of dust particles and air bubbles.

How to use
- Thoroughly clean and degrease the surface using ADBL Surface Cleaner.
- Remove dust and all loose contaminants from the surface.
- Apply the installation gel to the prepared body surface and to the adhesive side of the film.
- Precisely place and align the film in the desired position.
- Use a squeegee to push out the gel and firmly seal the film edges.
- Wipe off gel residues with a clean microfiber cloth and dry the surrounding work area.
- Use the QR code on the bottle to view a video with the exact procedure.
