Active subwoofer Crunch GTi800A
The Crunch GTI800A is an active subwoofer system designed to easily expand a car audio system with a more pronounced bass component without the need to install an external amplifier. The enclosure is equipped with an 8” (200 mm) subwoofer and a built-in class A/B amplifier delivering 200 W RMS, providing sufficient headroom for dynamic reproduction of low frequencies. The bass-reflex enclosure design helps increase system efficiency and supports a fuller bass response.
The integrated amplifier offers RCA inputs as well as high-level inputs for connection to head units without line outputs. Thanks to the automatic turn-on function, the system is also suitable for installations with factory radios where a dedicated remote lead is often missing. An adjustable low-pass filter and a bass boost function are also available for basic tailoring of the bass character.
The enclosure is made of MDF and its front panel is double-layered, which increases structural rigidity and enables recessed mounting of the subwoofer. The speaker is additionally protected by chromed protective bars and uses a surround with double stitching for greater mechanical durability.
