These liquid wipers were made using the same technology as the successful paint protection from Carbon Collective Platinum Wheels and Platinum Paint, using strong chemical bonds and an active SiO2 content that adds strength. Platinum Glass Coating thus becomes a new functional layer on the glass surface. After application, the use of conventional wipers is significantly reduced. The superhydrophobic properties of Platinum Glass Coating activate already at speeds from 50 km/h, improving visibility and contributing to a safer and more comfortable driving experience. The minimum durability of Platinum Glass Coating is 6 to 8 months on the windshield; real resistance in our conditions usually exceeds one year. On side windows the durability is reported up to two years. We recommend applying 2 layers on the windshield, 1 layer on the side windows, and optionally on the rear window.

How to use

• Do not work in direct sunlight.
• We recommend using chemical-resistant gloves.
• Work in a well-ventilated area or use a respirator if applying in a closed garage.
• Thoroughly clean and degrease the glass with Carbon Collective Panel Prep, or with your preferred cleaner (IPA, etc.). 
• Drop the product onto the supplied applicator and then apply it to the glass.
• You can also use an application block with a small cloth, for example the Carbon Collective Application Kit.
• Always apply with cross motions: up and down, left and right.
• Apply to the windshield in halves; this procedure is more time-efficient.
• After application let it dry for 1 to 3 minutes and buff with a microfiber cloth; we recommend, for example, the Purestar Speed Polish Multi Towel Gray.
• We recommend applying a second layer to the glass no sooner than 60 minutes after the first.
