Carbon Collective Platinum Glass Ceramic Coating delivers advanced protection for glass surfaces by forming durable chemical bonds and using active silicon dioxide (SiO2). This premium ceramic coating creates an ultra-smooth, hydrophobic layer on glass that repels water and dirt and greatly reduces the need for traditional wipers. It significantly improves visibility in poor weather conditions, enhancing safety and comfort while driving.
Driving in heavy rain or poor weather often means tired eyes and a constant struggle with restricted visibility through the windshield. This ceramic glass coating addresses that problem at the source by creating an extremely hydrophobic barrier. When water contacts the glass, it immediately beads into perfectly rounded droplets that are carried off by airflow at speeds starting from about 50 km/h. In practice, this means that during typical driving outside the city or on highways you will rarely need to use your wipers. The treatment also reduces wear on the wiper blades and eliminates streaking that often worsens nighttime visibility or glare from oncoming traffic.
The formula for this coating is based on the same proven technology used by the brand for its successful paint and wheel protections. Thanks to strong chemical bonds, the product becomes an integral part of the glass surface, ensuring exceptional chemical and mechanical resistance. On the front and rear windshields, which endure the most mechanical stress, real-world durability in our climate typically reaches one year, with a guaranteed minimum lifespan of 6 to 8 months. On side windows, which are not directly exposed to wiper action and frontal dirt impact, the protection can easily last 12 to 24 months. The coating also increases resistance to minor micro-scratches and makes removing frost in winter or insects in summer much easier.
The application is designed to be as simple as possible for both professional detailers and enthusiastic amateurs who want the best care for their vehicle. Besides automotive glass, this product is safe for use on polycarbonate surfaces, motorcycle helmet visors, and other external transparent materials. For full coverage and maximum performance, it is recommended to apply two layers to the windshield to ensure complete nanostructure bonding and avoid missed spots during application. The result is a perfectly clean surface with deep gloss that is extremely easy to maintain and can be cleaned with just a water rinse or a mild car shampoo.

How to use
- Do not work in direct sunlight and ensure the glass surface is cool to the touch.
- When working, we recommend using chemicky odolné rukavice.
- Apply in a well-ventilated area; if working in an enclosed garage, use an appropriate respirator.
- Thoroughly clean, polish and degrease the glass before application using Carbon Collective Panel Prep or isopropyl alcohol (IPA).
- Apply a few drops of the product onto the supplied microfiber applicator and spread evenly over the glass surface.
- For more precise application you can also use the Carbon Collective Application Kit with its applicator block and cloth.
- Apply in cross-patterns (up/down, then left/right) to ensure full coverage.
- We recommend dividing the windshield into halves and coating each half sequentially.
- After application, let the coating flash for 1 to 3 minutes and then buff it thoroughly with a clean microfiber cloth—ideally the Purestar Speed Polish Multi Towel Gray.
- For maximum effect, apply a second layer after at least 60 minutes.
