When applying a ceramic coating you can’t do without an applicator block and small cloths, which make application efficient and safe. We recommend changing the cloths during the application. Don’t use one cloth for the whole car — it can accidentally pick up dirt and the result then won’t be 100% (that’s why the pack contains multiple cloths). The applicator block fits great in the hand thanks to a small "step" on the side, and it is slightly larger than competing blocks. On the side you’ll find slots where the applicator cloth can be secured (e.g. using a credit card). The block is made from two types of foam with different densities. The applicator cloth now features the Carbon Collective logo (so you always know which side is the application side), has an improved fiber structure and is super soft. We recommend using Carbon Collective Platinum Glass, Platinum Paint, Oracle and others when applying ceramic coatings.

How to proceed when applying a ceramic coating or liquid wipers

We recommend washing the cloths before first use to prevent lint shedding.
Place the applicator cloth evenly onto the applicator block.
Lay the cloth with the logo facing up — the logo must be on the application side.
Take any card or a kitchen knife (use the blunt side) and gradually insert the applicator cloth into the block from both sides.
Check whether the cloth holds firmly and is evenly positioned on the block and not wrinkled anywhere.
Also check that there is no tiniest dirt on it.
Put on protective rubber gloves.
You can start dropping the ceramic coating onto the cloth and apply to the paint, always working in a square.
If the block falls on the ground during application, replace the cloth immediately with a new one!
After use do not reuse the applicator cloth (it usually hardens completely); the block can be reused.
You can later buy applicator cloths individually, for example Gyeon Q2M Suede 10 x 10 cm.
